About Us

It Started, Quite Simply, Like This...

Afzal “Affy” Bhatti, head chef and founder of Affy’s Premium Grill is a trained chef with over 30 years of experience in fine dining. Originally from Chicago, Affy opened the first location of Affy’s Premium Grill in Pickering, Ontario in July 2008. The restaurant quickly became a hotspot for Toronto natives especially for the Halal eaters and was so successful that Affy bought the store next door to expand and triple the number of seats. Affy opened his second location in Mississauga, Ontario in October 2012 and it proved to be just as popular and busy as the original. Affy’s next venture was stateside with his third location in Brooklyn, NY in August 2015. Affy then returned to open his last restaurant in Scarborough, Ontario in June 2017.

Fantastic steakhouse — excellent quality, perfectly cooked meat, warm service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I honestly don’t understand some of the one-star reviews — maybe those folks only dine at five-star Michelin restaurants or were expecting a vegetarian menu in a steakhouse! If you appreciate great food done right, this place delivers every time.

It is really good experience here. Foods are really good to taste. Service could have been better but no complain. Ambiance also good interior could have been better. Overall recommended. We will visit again.

Amazing experience. We were a large group celebrating an occasion, and we encountered a great experience at Affys... 👍 The steaks are meticulously prepared, and rich in flavour. I liked the ambiance, and our Nepalese server(forgot his name unfortunately) for the evening was almost like a magician.... 😂 Attentive, responsive and anticipating kind... Kudos guys, keep it up

I ordered their CLASSIC NEW YORK STRIP STEAK Topped with peppercorn gravy, with the side of vegetables and fries.. I had it medium well. Steak tasted pretty good. The vegetables are seasoned well. Overall i was pleased and happy with my meal. Service was also good.
